34th Peters Township Community Day Under Way

The annual festivities at Peterswood Park are planned for Saturday, June 30.

Despite overcast weather, last year's event survived with no rain. Hopefully, this year follows. The 34th annual Peters Township Community Day in Peterswood Park is scheduled for Saturday, June 30 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There will be tasty food, entertainment, raffles, games and more. Local vendors will be handing out giveaways and it's the perfect way to immerse yourself and your family in the township.

Parking is available, but limited. A free bus shuttle service to the park from Bower Hill Elementary and Peters Township Middle School will be offered.

The Community Day committee will be selling raffle tickets from Shelter No. 1 all day, with a winner drawn every five minutes—participants need not be present to win.

There will be great prizes, an airbrush tattoo artist, special entertainment by "Paul's A Train" and "Kai-Ian," a strolling bagpiper, a caricature artist and music.

Return to the park at 9:30 p.m. for fireworks. See you there!
