Cleanup Day This Saturday in Peters
The annual event starts at 9 a.m. at the Community Recreation Center. Can you lend a hand?
Sunday is Earth Day, which means Saturday is the annual day designated for cleaning up Peters Township. You want to keep Peters a beautiful place to live, right?
Help out at this year's Cleanup & Environmental Quality Board Recycling Day tomorrow. The event, set up to collect trash and debris, will start at 9 a.m. at the Community Recreation Center.
The township will provide volunteers with garbage bags, gloves, a vest and a shirt.
The EQB Recycling event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon. Batteries, scrap metal, tires and electronics will be accepted. This event will be held at the Department of Public Works facility (across from the CRC).
