Joann Patricia Refosco Lavorgna, 75, of McMurray, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 in the Donnell House, Washington.

She was born Oct. 14, 1936 in Hendersonville, a daughter of Joseph and Anna Stankus Refosco.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as a clerk for CoGo’s and was a homemaker.

Her husband, William Anthony Lavorgna died April 8, 2012.

Surviving are two sons, Kevin Lavorgna (Renee) of McMurray and Keith Lavorgna of Canonsburg, three daughters, Karen Cargo (Mark) of Charlotte, N.C., Krista (Mike) Johnson of Peters Township, and Keri Lavorgna of Greensboro, N.C. She is also survived by one sister, Lorraine Collingwood of Canonsburg, 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Joann was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, David and Ray Refosco, as well as one sister, Pat Scholleart.

Friends will be received Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Sollon Funeral Home located at 30 E. College St. in Canonsburg, where services will be held Saturday at a time to be announced. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, Peters Township.
