'Pay It Forward' for National Teacher Appreciation Week
Nominate your favorite teacher, and he or she could win a $100 gift card for classroom supplies.
Peters Township School District is celebrating National Teacher Appreciation Week in many forms. But one in particular, is a new contest.
The Peters Township Education Foundation launched a teacher appreciation contest to help district students and parents "Pay It Forward!"
Staff members spend much of their personal money to buy supplies for their classroom and students. This year, the PTEF would like to show the teachers how much their selfless efforts are appreciated with this contest.
Students, parents and staff members can complete an online nomination for their favorite teacher and one staff member from each district building will be selected from the entries submitted.
He or she will win a $100 gift card for classroom supplies.
You may enter the contest as many times as you wish, district officials said. The winner will be randomly selected on May 18.
Visit pt-educationfoundation.org to submit your nomination.

We already have nearly 100 nominations in less than 24 hours! It's great to see the comments about how our teachers have touched the lives of students in PTSD!
