The high school's executive council hosted a student leadership conference this week.

The Peters Township High School executive council kicked off their effort to establish a network of student leaders this week.

The Pennsylvania Student Leadership Consortium held a student leadership conference on Feb. 28 at the high school.

The conference focused on building relationships, sharing ideas and working toward collective collaborative action between school districts. Also taking part in the consortium were students from Elizabeth Forward, Mt. Lebanon, North Hills, Quaker Valley, Ringgold, South Fayette, South Park and Upper St. Clair.

Ongoing, the students have created a website to facilitate collaborative discourse between the student leaders across the districts.
