Peters Declares Snow Removal Emergency

On-street parkers can be fined.

 

Peters issued a "snow removal emergency" on Friday afternoon. 

Due to current and predicted snow falls a Snow Removal Emergency is being declared for Peters Township. All on street parking is prohibited so that snow removal operations may occur. This declaration of emergency shall be for a period 24 hours. Violators are subject to fines.

In addition the Community Recreation Center will close at 4 p.m. today due to the weather and the Peters Township schools are being dismissed 45 minutes early.

Ted, I think the name of the business is McMurray Bethel Part Distributors. Maybe having McMurray in the name is enough to make the connection. It is only a couple of miles outside the Peters boundary. Ha, ha, ...
