A Washington County 911 supervisor has confirmed that police are searching for an armed man who threatened the staff of a medical office located at 1000 Waterdam Plaza in McMurray.

The incident reportedly happened just before 6 p.m. the supervisor said.

The Observer-Reporter has reported that Peters and North Strabane police are searching for the man, who the newspaper said has been described as “a white, with a thin build, wearing all black and a mask. He reportedly threatened to shoot everyone in the office.”

As of 6:20 p.m., two Peters policemen deferred comment while at the scene.
