Peters Student Selected For the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band

The high school senior was honored Monday during a special ceremony.

A Peters Township High School senior is one of 125 musicians chosen nationwide to join the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band.

Richie MacKay—who plays xylophone, mallets and timpani, or the kettle drums—will now be part of the performance on Jan. 5 as part of the National All-American Bowl game for the nation's top high school football players.

A special ceremony was held on Monday for MacKay. Click here to see the report from KDKA.
