Peters Township High School Top 10 for Highest SAT Scores

See where other area schools fall on the list.

 

The Pennsylvania Department of Education released a list of high schools' average SAT scores for 2012 and Peters Township High School made the top 10 again.

The Pittsburgh Business Times compiled a list of the top SAT scores for high schools in the Pittsburgh region. Here are the top 10:

1.       Upper St Clair High School

2.       North Allegheny Senior High School*

3.       Mt. Lebanon Senior High School

4.       Fox Chapel Area Senior High School

5.       Hampton High School*

6.       Peters Township High School*

7.       Pine-Richland High School

8.       Avonworth Senior High School*

9.       Franklin Regional Senior High School

10.     Quaker Valley High School

The noted (*) schools above all registered increases in scores over the previous year’s combined score. All others registered a decreased in scores. Peters Township’s increase was 1.4% overall and the school’s ranking was up from 7th according to 2011 scores.

No pic of Peters High School for the Peters' story??? It was OK to use USC pic for the USC story, but for the Peters story too?
