Peters Township students in Matt Cheran’s social studies classes marked the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor Friday by takings some time to recognize the troops currently serving our nation.

Cheran and his students wrote holiday cards to our servicemen and women that will be delivered to those on active duty over the next few weeks. Cheran says that his students are taught to give back, and this was their small way of marking this important anniversary in the history of our armed forces.
