Peters Township Top-Scoring District in Washington County

The Pittsburgh Business Times list the top schools in the state and in western Pennsylvania.

Peters Township School District is the top-scoring district in Washington County, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times.

The newspaper released its annual list of top western Pennsylvania school districts and top Pennsylvania school districts Friday.

Peters Township ranks No. 7 on the western PA list again this year. The district dropped to No. 14 from No. 11 on the state list.

The rankings are based on three years of PSSA test scores in math, reading and science.
