You know this is a strange kind of summer when, the Steelers report to training camp, hardly anyone is talking about the Steelers.

Instead, the Pittsburgh Pirates are the toast of the town, and why not: The team hasn't had a winning season in 20 years and hasn't won the World Series in 33.

Last Saturday, parking lots were pretty much full already about four hours before game time at PNC Park. The day was a bit overcast and a bit humid, but that didn't matter to the thousands of fans who gathered to celebrate the sudden success of their favorite baseball team.
