As part of their "express yourself" theme, Bower Hill Elementary students celebrated International Dot Day on Friday, based on the children's book, The Dot by Peter Reynolds.

Staff members from the Pittsburgh Mattress Factory Museum were on hand to share an interactive art installation created by a Japanese artist.

Third grade students, given the job of curator for the event, also assisted their classmates Bower Hill’s very own dot art installation in the hallway.

Parents were invited to share the experience via the Bower Hill Library Wiki at www.bhlmc.wikispaces.com.
