With Halloween just 65 days away, Peters Township Parks and Recreation has the planning under way for the annual Haunted Trail. 

Do you have a group of friends or belong to a group looking for community service hours? Or do you just love to scare people? There are opportunities available. 

The CRC needs storytellers, scene actors, concession stand volunteers, trail monitors, scene prop builders and designers. If you're interested, the first meeting will be held next Wednesday, Sept. 5, at 7 p.m. at the CRC.

The Parks and Rec staff asks you to let them know if you have leftover items from past Halloween events—they may be able to use them.

The Haunted Trail will run Friday, Oct. 5, and Saturday, Oct. 6, at 7:30-10 p.m. The event, held in Peterswood Park, costs $5 to Peters Township residents.
