Washington County Dairy Princess, Peters Student Serves Sweets on Capitol Steps

National Dairy Month event at the state Capitol attracts Pennsylvania dairy producers and princesses.

Peters Township High School senior Angela Mikec joined state Rep. John Maher, chairman of the House Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee and state Agriculture Secretary George Greig at the Capitol Wednesday.

In honor of National Dairy Month, Peters Township High School senior Angela Mikec joined state Rep. John Maher, chairman of the House Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, and state Agriculture Secretary George Greig at the Capitol Wednesday. 

She and fellow dairy princesses and producers served free ice cream sundaes to the public on the Capitol steps. 

Mikec is the daughter of Mary and Mark of Peters Township.
