More About St. Benedict the Abbot Catholic Church
This newly-built church, dedicated on August 5, 2006, by Bishop William Winter, has a congregation size of 2,800 families. St. Benedict is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh. The church was authorized in May of 1962 by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh. The Pastoral Council exists to lead the parish in a planning process that will result in establishing, reviewing and evaluating goals and objectives.
