Coupon-Cutting Louis Vuitton-Carrying Woman

You read that right, I cut coupons and I love Louis Vuitton. I love deals and I enjoy the finer things in life. I believe in value and I believe in quality. I’m more of the quality than quantity kind of person.

Yes, I have high-end purses. Yes, they are real. Did I get a deal on some of them? Absolutely! Once I got an awesome Gucci purse at Saks in Detroit that was such a deal, I just couldn’t pass it up, as it was perfect for carrying folders to business meetings. During the time I lived in Philadelphia, I lived near the King of Prussia Mall, which is a haven for incredible gluttonous shopping. Oh what a pleasure it was to use Neiman’s valet parking during the Christmas season then head over to Lord and Taylors for the best deals.

I can’t even mention Hermès . Oh my, I’m starting to get all tingly all over. I adore their scarves and yes if I could wrap my brain around buying a Birkin Bag I would. Ok, back to reality from Birkin bagland.

I also love deals. The old saying, "it’s not what you make, it’s what you save," describes me well. I’m not into ultra big houses or new fancy cars, though I never mind driving one or visiting a mansion. I just don’t want to pay the utility bills for unused space and higher insurance rates for my kids to grind their Cheerios into the leather upholstery.

For necessity items like a car, housing and food, I like to save. I use The Grocery Game to tell me when items are on sale at Giant Eagle and what coupons to use to get the best rock bottom prices. Love it! It saves money and time.

My girlfriend just turned me onto Wal-Mart. I will admit, I was not a fan of Wal-Mart. It goes way back to college. I am a big fan and supporter of the small business owner. Being a business owner myself, Level 11 Marketing, I love to support other business owners.

I never liked Wal-Mart until I was shown the Wal-Mart way. WOW. I just can’t deny the cost savings at Wal-Mart. You know, it did start out as a "ma and pa" shop. I need to remind myself of this to ease my conscience. And guess what else, they take coupons! The best way to use coupons there is by using increments of a dollar or more since they don’t double them. And their cilantro is fresh and cheap!!!

Then I also came back around to Sam’s Club. Washington County's Sam’s doesn’t compare to Costco’s in King of Prussia, but I still love it! I buy clothes, food and household items there.

So as I shop carrying my Louis Vuitton diaper bag containing my coupons, wearing a shirt from Sam’s with a Hermès scarf adorning my neck on my way into Wal-Mart, I just giggle. I love to save money and I love really nice things. Who else is with me?
