Metamorphosis Offers One-Stop Shop for Living Healthy Lifestyle

A unique, one-of-a-kind wellness center will soon celebrate its grand opening. Metamorphosis, a “one-stop shop” that offers a variety of services to promote healthy lifestyles, will celebrate its grand opening from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, at its center, located at 300 Cedar Hill Drive McMurray, PA (directly behind Donaldson’s Crossroads).

Tours of the facility, food tasting by Chef Garnett Livingston from La Maison and a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Peters Township Chamber of Commerce will be part of the festivities.

Metamorphosis began as a dream years ago for its founder and owner, Melissa Migliaro. “I wanted to establish a place where people could come to find relief from their stress and worries. I also wanted to connect them to experts in a wide variety of fields who could help them live healthier, well-rounded lives.”

Metamorphosis aims to help people enhance their well-being by offering access to an array of amenities and experts who can provide assistance in the areas of mind, body, spirit and community.

“We look forward to helping people achieve their ‘good for you’ goals that they may have set for the New Year and going forward,” said Ms. Migliaro.  “And, through our line of comprehensive services, we aspire to make the end of 2014 just as healthy as the beginning.”

Metamorphosis offers continuing education and a wide variety of wellness activities to meet the needs of a very diverse population. The building that houses Metamorphosis is designed to accommodate events such as cooking classes, yoga and pilates, special events, guest speakers and much more. Some of the 2014 guest speakers include best-selling Author Robert Mack, and drummer Jim Donovan, founding member of the 90’s band Rusted Root.

“The instructors who teach the classes and are featured during our special events come from across the nation and work together toward the common vision of empowering the community and creating healthier lives,” Migliaro said.
