Volunteers Needed for Meals on Wheels!

Meals on Wheels of Peters Township is in need of more volunteers to keep up with the growing demand for meals. Our program now serves up to 200 clients every weekday, in a wide area that includes Peters, Canonsburg, Houston, Finleyville, Eighty-Four, Lawrence, and parts of Bridgeville/S.Fayette, Bethel Park, and Upper St. Clair. 

Kitchen volunteers
are needed from 8:00-10:30 am on weekday mornings to help prepare and package meals. Delivery drivers are needed from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm for regular weekly routes both year-around and seasonally, and as substitutes.

Other needs include volunteers to bake diabetic cookies at home, and canned soup donations for emergency "Blizzard Bags".
