Celebrate Local Foods at Potluck Dinner

Attendees are asked to bring a potluck dish to the library Friday night.

Friday at 6:30 p.m. marks the return of the 2nd Annual Local Food Potluck Dinner at the . Are you attending? 

The event is being hosted by the library's GO Green Club and Cooking Club. 

Good news! The library is kindly accepting registrants through Wednesday of this week—the original deadline was Aug. 1.

Attendees are asked to bring a potluck dish to share, made with locally grown and produced foods or "some samples of the bounty" from their home gardens. 

During dinner, Liz Kanche from American HealthCare Group will discuss "Eating Locally in Western Pennsylvania."

According to a release, Pennsylvania ranks in the top 10 states with the most farmers markets.
