Council to Review Vote for Whispering Pines, Woodlands Connection

Peters Township Council will review its 4-2 vote from the July 24 meeting to eliminate the Berry Lane interconnection.

Council will from the July 24 meeting to eliminate the Berry Lane interconnection between The Woodlands and new Whispering Pines plans.

Potential traffic concerns caused Peters residents—living in The Woodlands neighborhood, and on or near Bebout, Boyer and Bower Hill roads, and Walnut Drive—to fill council chambers for the last meeting.

Residents also questioned why the plan’s entrance and exit couldn’t directly connect to Bebout Road in order to alleviate The Woodlands from becoming a “super highway.”
