Cover Those Plants! A Freeze Warning Has Been Issued

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for the region that runs through 9 a.m. Monday.

With temperatures expected to dip into the lower 30s overnight and into Monday morning, the National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for the area.

"High pressure will allow temperatures to drop below freezing during the early morning hours of Monday," the NWS indicated on its website. "Uncovered plants will likely be impacted."

The agency also indicated that the freezing temperatures could also affect exterior plumbing fixtures.

But on the brighter (and warmer side), it is expected to be sunny with a high near 56 in the afternoon.
