Busy week! Here are five things you need to know:
1. Peters Township Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the municipal building.
2. The Peters Township Park Maintenance Department will be doing work along the Arrowhead Trail from Monday through this Friday. The work will be completed between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. "Please expect temporary delays and possible closures," the Peters Township website indicates. "Trail users will not be permitted to pass until directed."
3. Itching for some live music? Then head over to Peterswood Park on Wednesday for a Concert in the Park. Bon Journey is the featured band, which starts its set at 7 p.m. For more information click here.
4. Cremation & Funeral Services in Peters Township will be dedicating its flag poles with a special ceremony Wednesday. For more information on the event, click here.
5. The Independence Day might be the only government holiday on the calendar in July, but that wasn't the only reason to celebrate this month.
