Get Out: Island Musical, Mother's Day Tea & Bike Safety Day
This weekend in Peters Township there's something for everyone—including mom of course. Check out these five events for some ideas!

Why Go?: This weekend, the Abbey Players present the musical, “Once On This Island Jr.” The production is a feast for the heart, mind and soul with its poignant story and catchy Caribbean-flavored score.

Where/When: Wrights United Methodist Church, 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go: Come and enjoy a great breakfast at Wrights United Methodist Church. The church is raising money for the “Future Pastors in Training” fund.

Where/When: , 10 to 11:40 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Come to the library, curl up with a canine companion and read! In this returning program, children in grades 1 and up can visit with a registered therapy dog to gain extra self-confidence and fluency by spending time reading to these attentive animals. Call or stop in to sign up for your 20 minute time slot. Register in the Children's Department.
