Why Go?: On Veteran's Day all seven Atria's locations will be hosting a Fundraiser for Military Connections. Simply take the to the restaurant and 15 percent of your check will be donated to Military Connections!

Why Go?: Stop by for this fun, three-day event. The store will have food, door prizes and a free gift for everyone who visits. There will be 20 percent off all holiday silks, decorations and gifts. Owner Debie Carso said the store usually samples "some good adult beverages" as well.

Why Go?: An educational in-service program for certified athletic trainers to learn about low back pain will be held on at the Outpatient Care Center in Peters Township. Todd Franco DO, will present on Lumbar Spine Anatomy and Injuries and Jeff Leri DC, ATC will focus on Biomechanics and Treatment of Lumbar Spine Injuries. A total of 3.0 CEUs will be offered, a continental breakfast will be provided and various vendors will be on site offering give-aways. CEU registration and payment will occur at the outpatient center.

Why Go: This program is full, but you can register to be placed on a waiting list. Elsie Henderson, longtime and last cook for the Kaufmann family at Fallingwater will visit the Peters Township Public Library. The 98-year-old's adventures at Fallingwater are intertwined with recipes for the dishes she served there for 15 years in "The Fallingwater Cookbook: Elsie Henderson's Recipes and Memories," written by Suzanne Martinson. Chef Robert Sendall and the late Jane Citron, longtime cooking instructor, also contributed to this unique volume. During the library program, Henderson will respond to questions from friend Lowell Britson, and then answer questions posed by the audience. Copies of The Fallingwater Cookbook will be available for purchase and signing after the presentation.

Why Go?: Come participate in Jay's Sports Bar & Restaurant and Steel City Harley-Davidson's 3rd Annual Toys for Tot's Run. Registration is from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The race begins at Steel City Harley-Davidson's at noon. The destination will be Jay's Sports Bar & Restaurant. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided to all participants.

Why Go?: What have you done for your marriage lately? Why not treat yourselves, and your marriage, to a social evening of dinner and entertainment in O’Brien Hall? St. Benedict the Abbot’s Marriage Enrichment Committee has planned an inspirational evening featuring an introduction by Father Bob, catered dinner by DeLallo’s Ft. Couch Café, and live entertainment from the musical “I Do! I Do!,” a two-character story focusing on the trials, tribulations, laughter and sorrows of 50 years of marriage. The cost is $40 per couple, which includes dinner, wine and dessert. Registration forms are available in the narthex.

Why Go?: St. Benedict the Abbot and Boy Scout Troop 1313 will be sponsoring a blood drive in O’Brien Hall. Walk-ins are also welcome.
