Peters Cooking Club Announces Fall Meeting

Soups and Stews will be the hot topic.

Did you know the  sponsors a cooking club? It meets on the first Thursday of each month.

Members share knowledge about various cuisines, discuss cooking trends and share food samples. Each month features a different theme with recipes prepared by members, and is sampled at the meeting.

Past topics have included Irish cookery, a Cinco de Mayo celebration and a .

The PTPL Cooking Club has announced its next meeting will be on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. The theme is Soups and Stews.

The club is asking interested residents to register at the library’s circulation desk by noon on Monday, Oct. 31.

A $5-per-meeting fee defrays the cost of food samples and supplies, and is payable at the time of registration. Cash is acceptable, as is a check payable to “Friends of Peters Township Public Library.”
