Peters Native a Finalist in GNC Video Contest

Voting for this contest is underway through the rest of the month—and hometown support is requested.

Meghan Manning, from Peters Township, is a finalist in the “Me On GNC” contest in the video Category.

Her video is based on the importance of fitness to the art of dance.

The music used in the video was written by a fellow student from the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts, that attended it with her in 2008.

The first-place winner will receive a $25,000 prize.

Manning graduated from Peters Township High School in 2010, and was on the Peters Township Dance Team.

She attends Point Park University Conservatory of Performing Arts, as a dance major with a jazz concentration.

She recently moved to New York City, as she was selected to be a member of the Brooklynettes (NBA) Dance Team.
