Temperatures are expected to hover around 30 degrees overnight before the sleet changes over to rain Wednesday morning. Sims said they expect about an inch of accumulations, which could bring some slippery spots during the morning commute, but “no major problems.”

The higher elevations of the Laurel Highlands in Fayette and Westmoreland counties are expected to get more ice, Sims said.
