On Friday, April 27, a free community yoga class will be held in the Live Well yoga studio from 5-6:15 p.m., followed by an opportunity to meet the instructors. Free childcare and activities will be offered both Saturday morning and Friday evening.

Throughout the week, participants may enjoy a wide range of Live Well yoga classes, and drawings will be held for yoga gear, T-shirts, Live Well passes and private yoga sessions.

Donna Grote, yoga coordinator at the center, strongly believes the wide variety of yoga classes offers something for everyone in the community, whatever their goals or interests.

“I like to think of yoga as an individual journey of self-discovery,” she said in a statement.

Harry Chopak, 57, started taking yoga classes at the Wellness Center two years ago.

“It changed me up, I know that,” he told the center. “The spiritual, physical and mental benefits have been tremendous. It brought a calmness that I never had before. My bad days get better and my good days are even better.”
