Authors to Share Experiences 'Off the Grid' at Peters Township Public Library

The GO GREEN Club at Peters Township Public Library will host Ted and Kathy Carns, local authors of “Off On Our Own: Living Off-Grid in Comfortable Independence.” 

The Carns are living a 21st century success story of zero waste, total recycling and inventiveness.

Their five-acre home in western Pennsylvania is showcase of self-reliant living.

They have all the comforts of modern life—from a flat-screen TV to morning smoothies from their solar-powered blender.
