Peters Township Native Seeking Your Vote on 'America's Got Talent'

A 2008 Peters Township High School graduate will be performing on the hit NBC series next week.

Fans of the hit NBC series "America's Got Talent" might notice a familiar face next week.

Katie McNeal, a 2008 Peters Township High School graduate, is one of two flutists in the 3 Penney Chorus and Orchestra—a group of musicians from the New Haven, Conn. area.

The group will be performing live from Radio City Music Hall at 9 p.m., Tuesday Aug. 13.

McNeal played flute for Peters Township school bands from the fourth grade through high school. She is now studying at the Yale Divinity School and has been honored to be selected as a member of Yale’s Institute of Sacred Music.

She and her family are looking for some hometown support for McNeal, and they are asking local folks to tune in and cast a vote.
