Here's a roundup of PennDOT work around the area this weekend.

Banksville Road work isn't done yet!

PennDOT will continue milling and paving work on Banksville Road this weekend, which will affect those heading to Pittsburgh from  via Washington Road. Drivers can expect single lane closures between Carnahan Road/Wenzell Avenue and Beverly Road from 8 p.m. on Friday through 6 a.m. on Monday.

Parkway West/Fort Pitt Bridge: The ramps that connect the Fort Pitt Bridge (I-376) to Commonwealth Place/Liberty Avenue and the Boulevard of the Allies in the City of Pittsburgh will be closed from approximately midnight on Friday through 5 a.m. on Monday. Signs will be posted to guide motorists.

Parkway East (I-376): Traffic in the westbound (inbound) Squirrel Hill Tunnel on the Parkway East (I-376) will be restricted to a single lane from 9 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday for tunnel rehabilitation work.

I-579/Crosstown Boulevard/Veterans Bridge: The ramp connecting the Liberty Bridge (Route 3069) to northbound I-579 (Crosstown Boulevard) in the City of Pittsburgh will be closed from 8 p.m. on Friday through 6 a.m. on Monday. In addition, traffic on the northbound I-579 Veterans Bridge approach to the Parkway North (I-279) will be reduced to a single lane.
