Decorate Your Way to Cake Boss Status

Kids, feeling crafty? Enter the library's Aug. 25 cake decorating contest, sponsored by The Pie Place.

Calling all kid bakers, decorators and fans! 

The is hosting a cake decorating contest Aug. 25 in the library multi-purpose room from 6:30-8 p.m., sponsored by The Pie Place in Upper St. Clair.

The contest is open to anyone who wants to decorate cake, there's just one twist—kids must do it themselves!

There are three age categories—8 and under, 9-13, 14+. Prizes will be awarded in each category, as well as the fan favorite.

Not interested in decorating? Join in on the fun by helping to choose the fan favorite, enjoy refreshments from The Pie Place, or buy one of the entries in a silent auction.

Each cake entry costs $10. All entry fees are a direct donation to the library. Checks can be made payable to: "Friends of the Peters Township Public Library." You must register by Aug. 22.

Entry forms can be dropped off at the or The Pie Place.
