Two years ago, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett promised to make the state the home of a new natural gas drilling boom.
But since 2010, gas drilling in Pennsylvania's Marcellus Shale formation has dropped more than 50 percent, Philadelphia Daily News columnist Will Bunch wrote on Wednesday.
"It's beginning to look as if the governor was all hat and no cattle, at least on this issue," Bunch wrote in a piece that discusses the economic and political implications for this drop in gas production.
