McDonald's Upgrades with Outdoor Seating Area

Demolished Wednesday, the new structure on Route 19 is slated to be rebuilt in just a few months.

The Golden Arches along Route 19 in still stand as of Wednesday, however isn't serving up Big Macs and fries.

Yesterday marked the start of a 93-day demolition and reconstruction project by McDonald's USA, LLC. The restaurant is experiencing an upgrade with associated site improvements, according to Emily Moldovan, assistant planner for Peters.

A 4,313-square-foot eatery, which includes an outdoor seating area with 23 seats, will be constructed. The one-story masonry structure—155 square feet larger than the former space—won't have a Playland, but will have double drive-thru lanes.
