Sunny Bridge Natural Foods to Hold Grand Reopening Open House

A five-day celebration, including discounts, speakers, free samples, raffles, prizes and giveaways.

One of Pittsburgh's largest locally-owned, all-natural product and organic food markets, Sunny Bridge Natural Foods, announced it's holding an anniversary celebration, in honor of its 9th anniversary and its official grand reopening.

From March 1-5, during regular store hours, the public is invited to a free open house, which will include discounts on all products, a variety of speakers, free samples, raffles, prizes and giveaways, according to a news release.

The newly-remodeled and expanded store is now 50 percent larger in size and carries an increase in natural and organic products, as well as several newly-added services.

"We hope everyone will come by to see our newly-expanded and remodeled store," said Gina Snyder, president of Sunny Bridge Natural Foods. "There are larger selections of our current products and we have added many new products, too."

One addition, a new cafe and bakery, offers a wide variety of freshly-made gluten-free products, such as breads, pies, cakes, muffins, cookies, pizza shells, buns and pastries. Eat-in or take-out is available.

"Our store caters to families that prefer to include natural and organic foods and products in their life," said Snyder. "None of that has changed. With this anniversary celebration we want everyone to visit us and see first-hand our commitment to a healthy lifestyle."

Among the store's new additions is a gluten-free bulk goods section, for those who love select quantities of gluten-free products, such as candy, snacks, nuts, cereals, baking goods, popcorn and beans will love this section of the store.

And for produce lovers, they've created additional room for local and organic products, such as milk, eggs, honey and seasonal produce.

Sunny Bridge Natural Foods' already extensive supplements area grew to accommodate an increasing number of brands of vitamins, herbs and nutritional products, according to a news release.
