1. Babysitter

A Peters Township family is seeking a babysitter from June 24 through Aug. 22. According to the job description, a reliable sitter is needed approximately 15-24 hours a week in the afternoons. "Some flexibility in the schedule can be arranged, if needed. We are also flexible with the start and end dates," according to the job posting. The successful candidate will be able to creatively engage a 9-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl in positive programs. "Taking them to summer programs will be planned," the job notice indicated. The rate of pay is $10 an hour. The successful candidate will have her own transportation, will be a nonsmoker and will be college educated. 2. Teachers

The Goddard School in Peters Township is seeking teachers. The school is now accepting applications for lead teachers and substitute teachers. The successful candidate for the lead teacher position will have a a four-year degree in early childhood education, elementary education or equivalent. Experience in a preschool setting is preferred for this position. To be considered for employment as a substitute teacher, candidates must have a minimum of a two-year degree—preferably in the education field. Experience in a preschool setting is preferred. 3. Cat Sitter

A Venetia woman is seeking a cat sitter to care for its four felines. According to the job description, "I am looking for a dependable pet sitter for my four cats. They are all in good health and the sweetest cats. Occasionally I will need someone with experience and references. Sitting will include feeding, cleaning up after the cats (house and litter box), and house care duties like bringing in the mail and taking the garbage to the street on garbage day. 4. Seasonal General Labor Positions

Peters Township Public Works and Park Maintenance departments are seeking seasonal employees for general labor and miscellaneous duties. The position is scheduled for up to 40 hours per week. 5. Employee Relations Manager

Accion Labs, located on Boyce Road in nearby Upper St. Clair, is seeking a full-time employee relations manager. The position was established for assisting talent acquisition and human resources. The successful candidate will be tasked with providing information to consultants regarding company policies and regulations, as well as addressing a variety of issues and/or providing general support. The ideal candidate would be problem solver and a “people” person. He or she "will have a kind ear and a deft touch in working with these employees on everything from travel arrangements, visas, relocation, logistics, everyday employment challenges," according to the job description.
