Guests are invited to purchase a raffle ticket for the chance to win a new 2012 Ford Focus through Dec. 11.

is rolling out its 33rd annual Caring for Kids Campaign to raise funds for Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. Beginning Friday and running through Dec. 11, guests are invited to purchase a raffle ticket for the chance to win a new 2012 Ford Focus.

A brand new Race Red Ford Focus SE sedan, provided by the Neighborhood Ford Store, will be parked at Eat’n Park restaurants throughout the Pittsburgh area. Emblazoned with the Caring for Kids logo, the vehicles will help promote the campaign and remind guests to purchase a $2 raffle ticket for the chance to win a car. A 2012 Ford Focus will be raffled off to one winner at the end of the campaign in December, with all proceeds benefiting the Caring for Kids Campaign.

“It’s that time of the year when Eat’n Park’s team members and guests really shine,” said Eat'n Park Senior Vice President Kevin O’Connell, in a statement. “Over the years, our guests and team members have come together to raise almost $8 million for children in the communities we serve. We are glad to partner with the Neighborhood Ford Store to help kids receive the care they need.”

The Neighborhood Ford Store is comprised of 82 Ford dealers in southwest Pennsylvania, southeast Ohio and the panhandles of Maryland and West Virginia.

“This partnership provides another way for our Ford dealers to give back to their communities, and we couldn’t think of a better way than by helping sick or injured children get better—and helping their parents not have to worry about the medical bills,” said Dan Taylor, owner of Jerry Taylor Ford in Grove City, Pa., and chairman of the Neighborhood Ford Store. “We’re glad that Eat ‘n Park once again is getting behind the wheel of a Ford to help make it happen.”

Now in its 33rd year, Eat’n Park’s Caring for Kids Campaign has raised more than $6.5 million for the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, and hundreds of thousands of dollars for other children’s hospitals throughout the dining chain’s footprint. Monies collected from the campaign stay in the communities where it was donated, making it a true locally and community-driven fundraiser.

This year’s campaign runs through Dec. 11.
