Family Increases Reward to Help Find Jimmy Slack

Up to $5,000 is available to anyone who has information on the missing Bridgeville man.

, his family is increasing the financial reward available to anyone who has information about the missing  man.

“Any lead is a good lead,” said Maureen Shields, who is Slack’s sister. “We’re still at this. We’re not giving up.”

The family decided to increase the reward from $1,000 up to $5,000 in an effort to get any information that might help them find the 25-year-old Bridgeville resident.  after attending a String Cheese Incident concert at Stage AE on the North Side.

Since then, there has been very little information about how he disappeared and . Shields said the family thinks someone who was at the concert knows what happened to Slack.

“Things have gone cold, but we’re still pushing hard,” Shields said.

In addition to the increased reward, Lamar Advertising has donated space on an electronic billboard near Rivers Casino on the North Side that shows Slack’s photo and supplies contact information. Shields said the billboard company offered the space until Jan. 12 and designed the image that is rotating with other advertisements.

The family also has been proactive in using social media by building a Facebook page that has nearly 4,000 followers and sending out updates through Twitter using the handle @HelpFindJS.
