Are you always looking for new recipes to sample?
Why not check out the tried and true favorites of your local Peters Township Public Library staff members being offered in a just-released cookbook on sale at the library?
In time for holiday gift-giving or something special for any occasion, the cookbooks can also be ordered and shipped to former Peters Township residents who have moved from the area.
The R.E.A.D. Cookbook, which stands for "Recipes: Enticing And Delicious" is a collection of 225 recipes from library staff, Friends of the Library, and members of the library’s cooking, couponing and GO Green clubs.
The cookbook can be purchased at the circulation desk for $10 each with proceeds to benefit the library. Cookbooks can be shipped for an additional $3. Payment can be made by either cash or check payable to Friends of the Peters Township Public Library. If the book is to be mailed, please provide a shipping address with your order.
The recipes were gathered together by the Cookbook Committee (who are also library board members) Carol Adler, board vice president; Judie Adler-McNutt, Myra Oleynik and Margaret Verlato.
Photographs were taken for each section of the cookbook by professional photographer Jim McNutt, husband of Judie Adler-McNutt.
