A First Energy spokesman Tuesday night said northern Washington County was largely unscathed by the storm.
He said that countywide there are about 500 to 600 customers without power.
State-wide, he said there are 30,000 without power.
"The storm is pretty much hitting everywhere," he said.
A timeline for power restoration was not immediately known, but the spokesman said that crews would be working through the night.
