Peters Township Under Wind Chill Advisory

The National Weather Service has updated its forecast.

Peters Township is under a wind chill advisory until 11 Wednesday morning.

The wind chill values will be as low as -14 degrees.

The National Weather Service, located in Moon Township, warns that frost bite and hypothermia are possible if precautions are not taken.

Due to the bitter cold temperatures, Peters Township transportation will be operating on a two-hour delay for private and parochial students who are in session on Tuesday, Jan. 22.

No class is scheduled for Peters Township School District Tuesday. However, district in-service for staff members will take place on schedule.
