Peters Township Weathers Superstorm Sandy

The township remains under flood and high wind warnings.

Sandy is no longer a hurricane this morning, but the massive storm continues to impact the weather for millions of people, including Peters Township residents.

Peters Township remains under a flood warning until 11:45 a.m. and a high wind warning until noon, according to the National Weather Service.

Tuesday's forecast calls for even more rain—between a half and three quarters of an inch. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.
