Used Books Needed for Area Council PTA Sale

The Area Council PTA is now accepting donations of books, DVDs and more.

Need some more room on your bookshelf for this summer's best sellers? Couldn't get through the last novel you bought?

Don't let those books collect dust—donate them to the Area Council PTA, which is again hosting a used book sale.

The sale will be ongoing through May 10, and those interested in donating can visit any of the buildings in the Peters Township School District. Containers are located at every entrance.

And organizers want you to know: For this year's sale, the Area Council PTA is also accepting DVDs, music CDs and video games (but no VHS tapes, please).

Last year, the sale raised more than $2,000—money that was donated to enable reading programs in the district.
