Viewfinder: Institute Tours Peters Library to See New 'Senior Space'

On Thursday, three Institute of Museum and Library Services representatives got a tour of the library's "KEENage Korner."

Three representatives from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) visited the staff and board on Thursday to tour the library's newest area—the "KEENage Korner."

This new Senior Space was dedicated in April using a $ 4,000 grant from the PA Commonwealth libraries, which are supplied with funds by IMLS, a federal agency that provides grants to museums and libraries.

According to library staff, the visiting representatives were greeted by members of the Peters Township Public Library Board, members of the Senior Spaces Advisory Committee and a group of teens who are regular library users.
