It's finally summer—a hot summer. What's better than sitting on your deck or chilling by the pool and sipping on a refreshing drink? Absolutely nothing.
Summer gives us more time to get things done and more time to be creative—no better time to try a great drink!
My personal favorite? Lemonade.

You'll need: 1 cup sugar and 6 large lemons.
Directions: Bring the sugar and 1 cup of water to a boil in a small saucepan. Stir occasionally until sugar dissolves completely. Stir the sugar water with the unstrained lemon juice and 4 cups of cold water together in a large pitcher, and then chill it.

Here's another: Watermelon Slushy
You'll need: 8 cups cubed seedless watermelon, 1/4 cup lime juice, 1/4 cup sugar, 2 cups diet lemon-lime soda, chilled.
Directions: Mix together in a blender. Put in freezer for 30 minutes.
And another: Non-Alcoholic Strawberry Daiquiri
You'll need: Strawberries, orange juice, lime juice, sugar and ice.
Directions: Blend to a nice consistency and enjoy!
Lastly: Strawberry Lemonade
You'll need: 2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries, 1 and 3/4 cups sugar, zest of 2 lemons, 5 cups cold water.
Directions: Squeeze lemon juice into a pitcher. Place sliced strawberries and 1 cup cold water in a blender. Process on high. Enjoy!
