Kidney Gift of Life Gala

The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) will hold their annual Kidney Gift of Life Gala under the gold glittering stars of Pittsburgh’s black night sky. It will be an evening of black and gold, of celebrating LIFE, and of truly making a difference. The All that Glitters is Gold themed Gala will feature live entertainment by Protégé and will include a cocktail and hors d’ouerves reception, open bar, sit down dinner, as well as live and silent auctions. The highlight of the Gala will be the awards ceremony for our Gift of Life honorees. These three honorees epitomize the profound commitment that is essential in providing the best quality of life for those affected by chronic kidney disease. 

This year’s confirmed Gift of Life Awardees are:  Mr. John V. Heher, President, Liberty Insurance Group, Inc.; Dr. Rita McGill, Nephrologist and Associate Professor of Medicine, Allegheny General Hospital; and Ms. Zinna Scott, long-time Kidney Walk Volunteer and Fundraiser.
