Metamorphosis Center Hosts Running Wellness Series for Runners and Walkers
Just in time
to prepare beginner runners and walkers for Pittsburgh’s Great Race,
Metamoprhosis Center will host a nine-week course that will feature various
speakers and running topics designed to inspire, educate and motivate
participants. The course will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. every Thursday,
beginning August 7, at Metamorphosis located at 300 Cedar Hill Drive.
Each week
will feature a different topic and speaker. The course will culminate with participation
in the 5K Great Race, which is scheduled for Sunday, September 28. The series
schedule is as follows:
August 7:

“The course
is designed for the avid runner as well as those seeking basic information on
bettering their overall health and wellness,” said Melissa Migliaro, owner of
Metamorphosis. “We look forward to educating participants on all that they need
to know on how to improve their running skills and then see them cross the
finish line at the Great Race.”
The cost for
the entire nine-week course is $160, which includes the Great Race registration
fee, and is limited to 20 participants; individual classes are $25. The cost
includes all materials.
