Metamorphosis Welcomes Rusted Root’s Jim Donovan for Sound Empowerment Training

Jim Donovan,
an award-winning musician, educator and founding member of the multi-platinum
band Rusted Root, will host a seminar on sound empowerment training. The event
will take place from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, at Metamorphosis
Center, 300 Cedar Hill Drive, McMurray.

During the
training, Donovan will teach a wide array of techniques, including how to
energize the brain and clear the mind; how to lessen resistance, fear and
apathy; and how to create deep relaxation and stress release. Donovan also will
instruct participants on how to expand their conscious awareness and unblock
energetic and emotional congestion as he hopes to inspire people to take better
care of themselves.

everyone to invest a day learning how to empower others to help themselves,”
Donovan said. “By attending this event, attendees will learn profoundly
effective skill sets that will enable them to use sound as a tool for
transformation with any group or individual with whom they work.”

Beginners,
especially “non-musicians,” are invited to attend. There are no required
prerequisites; instruments and training manuals will be provided.

Although the
event is open to everyone, there are certain individuals who may especially benefit.
These include anyone interested in using the power of sound, music therapists,
yoga instructors, music teachers, energy workers, wellness practitioners,
anyone who works with children, social workers, disaster relief workers,
elementary educators, grief counselors and camp counselors.
