Washington Symphony presents "Space -- The Final Frontier"

Join the Washington Symphony Orchestra as we blast off on a musical mission that rockets through space as local film company, Winter Morning Pictures, pairs spectacular NASA images with a world-premiere International Space Station composition! Our musical journey will include selections from Holst's Planets, the "2001:A Space Odyssey" as well as music from sci-fi fantasy series "Dr. Who" featuring the unearthly sounds of the theremin - an out-of-this-world instrument.
See displays on one of the first men in outer space...local Trinity alumnus Joe Walker, who also has a school named after him in McGuffey School District. Experience the history, science and wonderful music of a journey into outer space.
Advance tickets available at Peters Township Library starting this season, as well as all branches of Washington Financial Bank and Citizens Library in Washington.
